This information is intended to inform you about my professional background and to describe certain aspects of our therapeutic relationship.

Formal Training and Education
I completed my Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from Bellevue University in 2013. Major coursework included Counseling Theories, Human Development throughout the Lifespan, Assessment, Theories of Psychopathology, Diagnosis of Mental and Behavioral Disorders, Foundations of Addictions Counseling, Social and Cultural Diversity, and Advanced Counseling Skills, Techniques, and Practices. I completed my Practicum in Counseling at The Relief Nursery of Lane County coupled with a one year Clinical Internship at Serenity Lane, a dual diagnosis treatment center.
Philosophy and Approach
My primary approach to counseling is an integration of person-centered, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, and mindfulness-based therapies. My role is to assist you in reaching whatever goals you may have for yourself by providing non-judgmental support and guidance. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and therapists, I abide by its Code of Ethics.

Methods of payment accepted include eligible insurance, cash, check, debit or credit card.
As a client of an Oregon LPC, you have the following rights:
To expect that a licensee has met the qualifications of training and experience required by state law;
To examine public records maintained by the Board and to have the Board confirm credentials of a licensee;
To obtain a copy of the Code of Ethics (Oregon Administrative Rules 833-100);
To report complaints to the Board;
To be informed of the cost of professional services before receiving the services;
To be assured of privacy and confidentiality while receiving services as defined by rule or law, with the following exceptions: 1) Reporting suspected child abuse; 2) Reporting imminent danger to you or others; 3) Reporting information required in court proceedings or by your insurance company, or other relevant agencies; 4) Providing information concerning licensee case consultation or supervision; and 5) Defending claims brought by you against me;
