Essential Oil Uses

Due to continual research being done on essential oils, more application methods are being developed. The three methods dōTERRA recommends for using essential oils is aromatically, topically, and internally. Essential oils have a powerful effect on the limbic system when used aromatically. Topical application is commonly used on specific target areas for quick absorption. When used internally, essential oils enter the bloodstream and are distributed throughout the body



Aromatic Use

Some of my favorite oils to diffuse are:

Wild Orange (Citrus oils are a great way to increase energy levels and uplift a depressed mood).. It also smells amazing :)

On Guard Protective Blend for immune support... Also smells amazing and can be used internally (I enjoy a drop in a cup of hot tea).

Peppermint for concentration, focus, and car sickness or tummy upset. It can also be a natural way to deter bugs and pests from your home.

Internal Use

Some of my favorite oils for internal use are:

Copaiba &

Frankincence

*A drop of each under the tongue each morning is great for cellular support and mood support.

Peppermint for yummy deserts like peppermint brownies. Can also calm an upset stomach.

Basil, Marjoram, Rosemary, and Thyme for cooking when I don't have fresh herbs.
